Problem

How do I manage my calendar in Webmail?

Solution

To schedule an appointment:

  1. Click on Add Appointment in the Calendar sidebar to select it.
  2. Type a title in the Appointment title text field.
  3. Click the Type drop-down menu and select the type of appointment you're scheduling.
  4. In Location, type the location name.
  5. Click on the Start date drop-down menus to select the appointment date. If it's an all-day appointment, click This is an all day appointment. If it's not an all-day appointment, click the Start time drop-down to select the appointment's start time. Then click Duration to set the appointment's length of time.
  6. Click Time zone and select your time zone.
  7. Click Send yourself a reminder to select a reminder time, or leave No thanks visible, if you don't want a reminder.
  8. Click Save or Save and Make Another to save your appointment.

To schedule Recurring Appointments:

  1. When creating an appointment, in the Repeat section you can set the appointment to occur once only, Repeat every specific set of days, or Repeat every month.
  2. Click a radio button at the left side of the page to select the most appropriate means of scheduling recurrences of your appointment. Clicking any other option will remove the selection from This is a one-time appointment
  3. Scroll down and click Save or Save and Make Another, or open another title bar to further modify your appointment.

To change an appointment?

  1. In your calendar, click the appointment date on the small monthly calendar to open the Day view.
  2. Click on the appointment name, and then click Edit.
  3. Make your change(s).
  4. Click Save.

    The appointment will be updated your calendar. Email notices will be sent to all invitees notifying them of the change. Invitees' calendars on this system will be updated.

To cancel an appointment:

  1. In your calendar, click the appointment date on the small monthly calendar to open the Day view.
  2. Click on the check box next to the appointment to select it.
  3. Click Delete.

NOTE: The appointment will be removed from your calendar. Email notices will be sent to all invitees notifying them of the cancellation. Invitees' calendars on this system will be updated (the meeting will be removed).

To create and use Reminders:

When creating or editing an appointment, find the Reminder Date drop-down menu. A list of reminder times are provided. Shortcut: If you're on the Today page, you can click the Add New text link beside Reminders and go directly to the Add Reminder page in one click.

  1. Click the Type drop-down menu and select the type of event.
  2. Click Event date and select the month, day and year.
  3. Click Event time and select the hour, minute and a.m./p.m.
  4. Click Time zone and select your time zone.
  5. Click Reminder date and select the time when you'd like to be reminded.
  6. Type any additional information into the Notes text area, and then click Save or Save and Make Another.
