ICANN WDRP requirements (for WHOIS data)
Article Number: KB 1011

Audience:eNom Reseller, eNom Central, Bulk Register
I received an email about making sure my domain WHOIS information is valid. Is this a legitimate email? Do I have to do anything?
The notice you have received has been sent by eNom in compliance with ICANN's current WDRP requirements. You can view more about this policy on ICANN's web site at http://www.icann.org/registrars/wdrp.htm.
Invalid WHOIS information can result in the deactivation of a domain, so it is extremely important that each registrant verifies that the current information is correct.
Should you need to update your information, please log into your domain or contact your reseller for assistance.
If the WHOIS information is accurate, you do not need to do anything. This is simply a requirement by ICANN that the sponsoring registrar periodically notify domain registrants directly of the legal requirement for valid WHOIS information.
