Does your DNS have support for SRV records?
Yes, eNom's DNS does offer support for Service Records (SRV).
To configure your domain's SRV records with us, ensure you are using eNom's name servers, and then perform the following:
- Under the Domains menu option, click My Domains.
- Click on your domain name, and then click DNS Server Settings. This should be set to Our Servers.
- Under the Manage Domain drop-down, click Host Records.
- Scroll down to the bottom of this page, and click Add SRV or SPF record.
The definitions for the fields are as follows:
This is the service name.
Lists the protocol used by the service, either TCP or UDP.
Priority controls the order in which records are used when load balancing; lower numbers are used before higher ones.
This is similar to priority, but with records having the same priority, lower numbers are used before higher ones
Defines the TCP or UDP port at which the service can be found.
The destination to which the record will direct traffic.
If you need further assistance configuring your SRV record, please open a support ticket.
