Authorization Key Delivery Issues

Problem

I requested to have my EPP key sent to me, but I haven't received it yet. How long will it take for me to receive my EPP key?

Solution

Once you have followed the steps in the article, OUTGOING Domain Transfers: How to Initiate a Transfer, you should receive the email within an hour. If you do not, please do the following:

  • Ensure that the registrant email address for the domain is correct (see WHOIS Contact Information on Domains).
  • Check your spam folder.
  • Disable any spam filters on your email address and resend the authorization key.
  • Whitelist the email addresses bounceback@enom.com and info2@enom.com on your email interface and resend the authorization key.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, please change the Registrant email address for the domain, and send the authorization code to yourself again.
