Solution
To enable or disable Registrar-Lock (clientTransferProhibited) status for your domain, please do the following:
- Log into your account.
- Under the Domains menu, click My Domains.
- Click on the link for the domain name you wish to modify.
- Click General Settings or click General Settings from the Manage Domain drop-down list.
- Set Registrar-Lock to either Enabled or Disabled.
- Click Save.
Please allow approximately 24 hours for the status to update at the registry.
More Information
NOTE: Removal of registrar lock does not initiate transfer of a domain; it only updates the domain status to ACTIVE or OK, thus enabling registrar transfer. For instructions on how to transfer your domain please see the article, How to initiate an OUTGOING domain transfer.
If you do not have a direct eNom account, please contact your reseller to have the lock removed. If you do not know the name of your reseller, please see the article, Who is my reseller?.
