Account Disabled - Possible Causes

Problem

When I tried to log into my account, it said it has been disabled. What is the problem with my account?

Cause

This can be caused by some problem with your credit card on a previous purchase, or it may result if you tried to log into your account too many times with an invalid password.

An account can also be locked due to incorrectly answering your account validation questions (see KB1374: Failed Account Validation - My Account is Locked).

Solution
