Problem

If I have multiple domain names and/or web sites within the same hosting account, can I assign a quota to how much space, bandwith and email each domain can use? How can I check the amount of resources my domains are using?

Solution

Only our Linux hosting supports quotas.

To set quotas for your domains:

  1. Open the Plesk control panel (see How to Access the Control Panel).
  2. Click Domains on the left.
  3. Click on the domain that you're managing.
  4. Click the Resource Usage icon. From this menu you can set limits for the following:
    • Disk space
    • Traffic
    • Subdomains
    • Databases
    • Java applications

To check the amount of resources your domains are using:

  • Open the Plesk control panel (see How to Access the Control Panel).
  • For an overview of the entire hosting account, click Home on the left. To check an individual domain, click Domains on the left, and then click on a domain.
  • Click the Resource Usage icon for an overview of all used resources. Click the Traffic Usage icon for a detailed view of bandwidth usage.
