Registration is available only to verified trademark holders. This is the first opportunity for anyone to register a new domain. You must have your trademark(s) validated by the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH). Once your trademark is approved, the TMCH will send an SMD file that you can use to complete your registration. Pre-registration takes place after the Sunrise and Landrush periods. We will attempt to reserve a specific domain name for you before it reaches General Availability, similar to a backorder.
Pre-Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first serve basis. You will receive a full refund if we are unable to secure the domain name for you.
With the Early Access Program (EAP), you can pre-register a great domain name before it becomes available to the general public for an EAP fee plus the standard registration price. EAP overrides standard price pre-registration orders, giving you the best chance to secure the domain name you really want.
Submitting a Pre-registration order does not guarantee that you will get the domain. However, we will guarantee that your domain will be in the queue and ready for submission to the registry immediately upon the opening of General Availability. If for some reason, you don’t get your domain, your registration fee will be refunded.
Fees for Pre-registration will include only the registration fee. If you are not awarded the domain, this fee will be refunded.
Domains with multiple applications in our Pre-registration queue that we are successfully able to register will be awarded either by sending it to private auction to be bid on by those submitting an order, or it will be awarded on first come, first serve basis. You would be notified of the auction details by our auction platform provider should it go into auction.
