From Demand Media to Rightside

We’re Officially Rightside

We’re thrilled to announce that after several months of work, Rightside has officially spun out of Demand Media. Rightside contains all the domain name, web hosting, web builder, email and site security assets of Demand Media, which includes the Enom, EnomCentral and BulkRegister retail and wholesale registrars. Rightside will trade on the NASDAQ stock exchange starting today under the symbol NAME. You can read more about this announcement here.

While this has been a long journey for so many people on Rightside’s executive, financial and legal teams, it’s only the beginning for us at Enom. We’re excited about the opportunity this gives us to continue to grow with you, our customers and partners. Even though the name of our parent company has changed, our commitment to you will never change.

As of today, we’ve released over 450 TLDs from registries such as Rightside, Donuts, CLUB, Uniregistry and others. Our focus is to provide the widest selection of TLDs, from generic and country codes to the latest new TLDs across all release phases. We make every effort to support pre-registration during the Sunrise, Landrush, and Priority Placement for Early Access phases. Our goal at Enom is to continue to be the leading new TLD platform to build your business on.

In addition to our new TLD release schedule, we’re working on exciting new products including a major upgrade to our email services, as well as a new website builder. That’s just the start of the new features we’ll be rolling out through the remainder of 2014.

While Rightside is a new public company, it’s built from a strong foundation. Enom, founded in 1997 and purchased by Demand Media in 2006, has been going strong for many years, and with your help, will continue to grow even stronger. Thank you all for being part of the Enom partner family and a critical part of our success.

is a proud part of   , a leading domain name services company.
