We are moving fast here at eNom, and today we are pausing to share some new data in conjunction with a panel I participated in today at DomainFest in Hollywood. We are 90 days into this historic expansion of the Internet, and we are exceeding all new registration and pre-registration targets for new TLDs adoption through our eNom and name.com teams.
We reached the milestone of just over 50,000 new domain names, making Rightside the second largest seller in this space. We now have more than 125 new top-level domains (TLDs) available in all phases (sunrise, landrush and, finally, general availability) for our reseller community, with an average of 19 new TLDs launching every week. Of the domain names in general availability, the more popular on our platform include: .GURU, .PHOTOGRAPHY, .SEXY, .TODAY, .TIPS and .TECHNOLOGY.
On the pre-registrations side, we have averaged 6,700 each month, with more than 20,000 collected. Of the pre-ordered domains, some of the most popular include .COFFEE, EMAIL, .NINJA, .REVIEWS, and .SUPPORT.
While at the conference, we will also be talking about the ONE.MENU product coming to market later this year. Developed in partnership with WhatBox?, the .MENU registry, ONE.MENU is an example of the unique and engaging approach we are taking to deliver value added services in order to support new domain registration across industries. The goal of this product is to help people and small businesses easily create their online identity, so ONE.MENU will offer new TLD registration with site building and email tools tailored to restaurants. Expect to see more from us as we apply this approach to other registries and other industries, including new TLDs from Rightside Registry.
This is just the beginning. As we head into the second quarter of this year, we are aiming to support approximately 150 new TLDs across all phases. We will keep the updates coming, so be sure to follow us on Twitter @eNom @Rightside and @Namedotcom.
